Why this site is a folder of Markdown
Every service I run follows one rule: start with the simplest thing that is actually real, and grow it only when there is a reason. This site is no different.
It is a static Astro build. Projects, case studies, the “now” block and posts are Markdown files with typed frontmatter, one folder per language. The container serves them on port 3000; Traefik routes to it; the CDN terminates TLS in front. There is no database, no admin panel, nothing to back up beyond the git repo.
When there is a reason for an API, it goes in a sibling container on the same network. Until then, it stays a folder of Markdown.
